Today we want to take a closer look at the new SAP S/4HANA license definitions and show you how the changes will affect your business.
For those who don’t remember: in the current SAP erp price list and conditions list the two licenses S/4HANA Functional use and Productivity use got new, extended functionalities. In Functionality use we now find, among other things, extended authorizations in the processes Quality Engineering, Sales and Supply Chain. In the Productivity use license, extensions have been made in the delivery area.

Of course, we cannot promise that the changes we identified will be applicable to all samQ users, but there will certainly be good results, too. In the case of this customer there was a monetary improvement of almost 30% from his SAP S/4 Hana license cost.
Based on the experience of many samQ analyses, we can say that in some cases the total amount of SAP license costs can be directly reduced and the released amount can be used for other S/4HANA products.
